Archer is absolutely terrible One of the worst strikers performances I’ve seen today. And to top it off he was too lazy to close down
excellent first 30mins but 2nd half has been really poor, heads gone down its only 2-0 ffs playing as if its 6 - thats nowhere near good enough
Very good until the missed penalty. Very poor for the rest of the first half. We've offered nothing second half but at least we haven't collapsed and conceded 6 or 7.
We have a lot of very good young players supported by a superb Ramsdale and KWP and a bang average captain! Not Premier League in attack or defence. Midfield starting to look decent.
Brilliant for half hour and best we've played all season. Terrible second half though. Have we even had a shot? Felt almost testimonial pace the second half tbh. Two teams who know the result has already been decided.

Our last shot was from the rebound of the penalty save. If you had to sum Southampton up, that’s not bad.
Really poor performance overall. Worsened by the early promise and energy that was surrendered. A game that was there to be contested ended up getting surrendered. Echo what everyone else has said - That red could be the best chance we have to start picking up points. Off to bed, not sure why I stayed up this long!

Plenty of positives today still I think to take onto Ipswich which we're much more evenly matched with. Massive game that already.
It's a challenge that every player would make with the opposing player running away from them. If he hadn't done that and let them score, we'd have complained.
That might be being a bit unfair on Martin. He made changes today when the first three games suggested he might be stubborn since he should have made changes if not for the second game then definitely the third
