A proper espresso martini is a beautiful thing. Too many pubs now doing terrible cocktails and making it take ten days to order a simple drink. ****ing Sandra and Tracy who had a Long Island ice tea in Tenerife and now asking a disinterested teenager behind the bar for four of them when he should be pulling pints.
I like some of them but not many, Old fashioned is nice if there's good bourbon in it but can't say I like many of them. I gave a poor dark and stormy to my daughter as it was terrible and got another pint.
Got the first proper hangover in months, the type you know is just going to be there all day umtill you kill it off with an hair of the dog pint. Trouble is, I can't have that pint as am driving later. Went to the T20 last night, good win by England but too many pints of various beers. Was definitely the can of San Miguel on the train up that's done me. Hopefully this pot of tea sorts me or it'll be a long day.
Great pics, as Sucky said the last one being the best, people in the background in the first one gives you the scale of things, second one landscape. Struggling to believe you walked 14 miles in it, although you do ride that bike of yours a lot.
