Doncaster 3.00 Magnum Force may well end up fav for this but at 5/1, 4 places B365 and WH I think Aesterius is the EW value. Only a shd behind Whistlejacket in the G2 Norfolk (and btn only 1¼l by the winner Shareholder) that form looks pretty decent to me.

In the finalé at Chester (17:40), a Class-4 Handicap over an extended 1m2f on heavy ground, the Wootton Bassett gelding, User Amistoso, has a decent chance to run well. Paul Mulrennan rides for the Michael Bell yard.

4/1 best price in most places early-doors, on the ATR site

Crikey, right on both counts. Aesterius wins at 7/2

I thought so too but 28/1 SP "prominent overall in far side pair, pushed along well over 1f out, soon hung right and weakened, eased final furlong"

Beaten fair and square, likely ground which apparently is 'tacky' (head lad pal of mine)... but what the hell was Spencer doing... the other races on the straight course 5f race Aesturius, drawn 11-9 (10 ran one non runner) the 7f race Whirl 9-6 (9 ran) 6f Shout drawn 10 (8 ran 2 non runners) 5 furlong last race Fantasy Master 17-16-6-15 first 4 home (14 ran, 3 nons)...

    I wonder about some jockeys...

What that shows or seems to is, avoid the far side like the plague...
