Another great listen. Going for 3-1 win (hopefully not O9 ) and will try and keep upto date with it as much as I can as I am in Ireland for a racing weekend with my youngest son.
Apparently they knew about the issue when they signed, then decided it needed surgery. Sounds like he was not intended to be in the 1st team straight away. I have high hopes for Isidor
Best start for a century has Sunderland fans believing again Young team and new manager Régis Le Bris — who has doctorate in biomechanics — have delivered four league wins from four and raised hopes at club after years of disappointment https://www.thetimes.com/article/5c...0?shareToken=964f834e94c9c1d9d69ed2e3c79103d9 please log in to view this image “Hello lads, hello Gary, let’s get carried away man!” roars Davey, a Sunderland fan who has just called Radio Newcastle’s phone-in and is speaking to Gary Bennett, the former Sunderland and Cardiff City centre half. “This is fantastic!” he continues. “It’s what life is all about. If you can’t get carried away at times like this, we might as well give up. It’s absolutely superb!” It is tea time on the final Saturday in August. Sunderland have just beaten Portsmouth 3-1 and in doing so have won their first four league games at the start of a season for the first time in more than a hundred years. They are top of the Sky Bet Championship."
Here is a pre match thread from Plymouth fans ahead of the game. Pop over and say hello they all seem a sensible lot. https://pasoti.co.uk/threads/argyle-v-sunderland-the-build-up.129511/
Galloway is a good defender now because he’s got 15 blocks already this season definitely not down to Plymouth defending for 90 mins every week
I think this one will be tighter than you'd expect. Which incidentally is what Wayne Rooney thinks of most Grannies. 0-1 Mayenda
I've not seen Plymouth so despite my 0-5 prediction I don't really know what is going to happen. However, I have seen enough of Rooney as a coach to know that he will 'add nothing'. I mean that if his players poor, his team will be too. He has no 'galvanizing' capabilities, or approaches that make his players and teams 'better than they should be'.
Yes, not as annoying as some forums and some decent comments. The only one I did laugh at was this, "No doubt the media will make it all about the time the Sunderland fans left the North East to get to the Theatre of Greens - but the Green Army do this every other week when we are playing away from home." Of course there'll be a few mentions just as there are when Plymouth go to the SOL ... ... some of the Plymouth fans never shut up about it. Don't they realise they have an easy away day at Cardiff and Portsmouth which we've just had to go to? To be fair Portsmouth were saying that in the last game but we overwhelmed them. As Plymouth haven't won a game either I'll expect them to try to attack but they'll know how dangerous that is against us. If they go ahead I could see them trying to hold it which would be something new for us ... ... if they go behind I think we'll score two or three more.
Why give them a goal? We’ve only conceded one so far and that was an og. Give the team credit and believe that they can keep a clean sheet.
It was more the, they can be got at. We've barely gave up a chance of any note and wouldn't have conceded yet, if O'nien knew where he was . Cue us getting beat on Saturday.
