Yep, love the big tournaments and get behind England but the friendlies and qualifying is boring as hell.
I dont mind the big tournaments held during the summer, when there is no league football anyway, its a nice distraction and some light entertainment when I am sat in a beer garden on a hot summers day. Though I stop short of saying that I support any team in the comps. Its the endless mid season international breaks that do my head in. Theres just too many. I'd rather one mid season long break of like 3 weeks. Get all the Nations League or qualifiers done then, then continue the season uninterrupted. Or better still, dump the gash nations league and just do the qualifiers for the tournaments in between seasons where there are no tournaments.
Had a tough international break apparently, poor in their first game and horrific in their second one so hooked by Koeman at half time
Responsible for 3 of the 4 goals they conceded in one and a half games, would be awful if that kind of form carried over to his club games.
Welcome to my world bro. Kids been doing it for years now for us, bout time he got his fair crack of the whip with England
Odegaard won't be able to play basketball for a few months apparently. Harvey Elliot out for a few months too with a fractured foot. Shame for him with another big injury
When your club are happy to move you on because they got Eric Dier to replace you then you probably just need to quit the game.
Greek fella we trying to sign, Fotiadis, scored 3 in their 2 Nations League qualifiers... oh well ... at least we signed Jordan Ayew ...
That's basically my position too. I used to watch all friendlies and qualifiers but then a few years back I realised they were an utterly ****e watch. Dull, flat, predictable with no bearing on how we'd do when it counts. Just the major tornaments now - even they're a difficult watch!
Club football is bread and butter. The break has actually suited us as we had a number of injuries and players who had only just walked through the door. Still. Tedious couple of weeks.
Likewise - we signed a baller who needs time to settle in but, together with the lad we have on loan from Brighton, should give us much needed creativity in the middle of the park ... The only thing that continues to baffle is how well our defenders do in the Internationals - then struggle in the Prem ... but looking forward to the upcoming games now more than have so far...
So suddenly Ronaldo's opinion is relevant! Kden. The only boot he stuck in is saying Ten Hag shouldn't say we're not in a position to compete for the league. Well guess what, we're not, currently. If ten Hag had come out saying we expect to win the league this season, he'd also get dogs abuse for being unrealistic and (social media treadmark) deluded. Everything else Ronaldo said was aimed higher, so at the Glazers essentially. Which we all ****ing know, thanks.
