Firpo is a great championship LB so for me it all depends on promotion

But tbf, 'was' does not necessarily mean 'will be'. I'm personally not that optimistic, so I have to defer to the coaching staff for that one. He might be exactly what we need for Farke's set-up - after all, we've been playing without a proper LB for years, so do we really need o 'traditional' LB?.

Firpo will do well if he plays in a dominant team. He gets time on the ball and has less defending to do. Leeds will be dominant in most league games this season.

In a Leeds team fresh in the Premier League then we won't be the dominant team very often and Firpo is one of the worst defenders I've seen. He will get torn apart....again.

 

I get your point but he either hasn’t been offered a new contract or has refused one. He is going on a free at the end of the season regardless of what division we’re in so don’t fret about him.
