The starting line up options, and then the serious options it leaves from the bench are now starting to look very decent and balanced. 'Just' needs a bit more time and patience to start coming together. We can hope, but to me it's unrealistic to expect it to click this early. Many rightly said we'd be playing serious catch up and that's how I expect it to be. But people can hopefully now see & agree that something serious is being built this time, which by January should really be firing, and we can then hopefully add a couple quality signings to take it even further.
Me too and while there lived in Darlington and went to Darlington Tech. Yes its not one of the great Cities of the world but drive out of town and you are quickly into the Yorkshire Dales which is a magical place with all its stunning rugged beauty and charm.
I worked in 'Ull for NCL which used to be part of railways and they had their own instructors and examiners.
"It's top," he said. "It's getting better and better for Ryan (Longman). He's on the pitch, yes, but without contact. He's happy to be here again and he's looking forward. We could need him, but, unfortunately, he's a few weeks off (being available). If he's back, he's a big impact for us. "He's (Sinik) also on the pitch, but not with the team working with the ball. I can't be sure when he's back for the team, so it's hard for me, so maybe it's better to speak with the medical staff, but soon he will be able to have an impact for us as well. Andy (Smith) is still injured and still inside (in the gym). It's not that far away, soon he will be back." Walter also suggested the club's latest signing, Steven Alzate, won't be ready to start the game having only arrived in the past few days. "He's a good footballer, technically, he's really, really perfect but he's not fit at the moment. He's not fit and he needs another few weeks, but you can see in the first sessions that he is a brilliant player and he will bring us a big impact."
I'd hope Belloumi is ready to go; having him, Omur and Bedia as a front three would be very promising.
It’s laughable about Sinik. He’s on the pitch but not playing football? What’s he doing then? Just wandering about like some fop haired folderol, skipping across a water meadow picking flowers and collecting butterflies. No one knows what’s going on but I’ll be willing to bet that he won’t be able to have an impact for us any time soon.
it’s all very very strange….i honestly don’t know what’s going on, but I’m beginning to question the “injury” reason why he’s not playing…something else is at play….but not a clue what it could be
The time for excuses is over now and we need to show some major improvements immediately. We don't have to start winning every game but we do have to start winning. This squad is good enough to do alright (even without a decent centre forward).
