I like Jack Grealish,I think he's a very talented player who simply ply's his trade at the wrong Club. He'd be a huge asset to just about any Club in the Premier League or Europe for that matter.. Wrong Club, wrong time for me. In a similar vein,I always thought Harry Maguire made a boo boo going to Man Utd.
Sorry, not too familiar with the drinking habits of fish... Although they do say some folk drink like one.
He seems a genuine person as well who always has time for fans and shows genuine love and care for children with disabilities.
Shame he's a bit of a prick with crashing his car after having a few drinks and a few other driving offences
Eh? He's been a regular player, when not injured, for one of the biggest clubs in the world that has won three consecutive league titles? What other club should he have gone to?
I think you could argue he's not had the amount of starts he would have had elsewhere. Also, I'd say he premiership numbers aren't fantastic... Maybe pep prefers him as a cup player
He would have started every game for Villa, but like Kane at Spurs, won **** all and everyone would have been asking what could have he won at a big club. Manchester, like all huge clubs now, have a large squad and juggle players around. It's madness to imply he's been like Scott Parker was at Chelsea and been pushed to the side with a huge salary. He's had an outstanding career.. league titles, fa cup, champions league winner... and been unlucky with England... But then what player has had success with England since 1966.
'Eh',what's that all about? By all means ask the question but there's no need to wet yourself in the process. Pep Guardiola has stripped Grealish out of every ounce of creativity and invention he possessed. He's turned him into a touchline hugging possession recycler... There's many a Club in the Premier League and Europe that could, and would, take Jack Grealish and allow him to perform in the fashion he's accustomed. P.S...This is a personal opinion on a public forum welcoming varying opinion, live with it!
Catch-22. Grealish could’ve stayed at Villa, be their best player and become a club legend known for his flair and creativity but probably never win a major trophy. Instead he went to Man City and won the treble despite being a bit-part player and coached to become a ‘system player’ with little to no individuality or freedom on the pitch. Also on a lot more money too. It all depends on what the player wants their legacy to be. Shearer could’ve gone to Man Utd to win trophies but he stayed at Newcastle and became a club legend. He’s also the record goalscorer to this day but he won nowt as a Newcastle player.
yea, a bit part player is what id class doc for us last season people acting like grealish never plays
I understand the difference of opinion on what makes a successful/satisfying career, but for the sake of comparison, Newcastle paid a world transfer record fee for him and he was paid the highest salary in the division for most of his tenure at Newcastle - he didn't take a cut to play there and at the tyne, Newcastle were challenging for the title. I think there's several on here whose careers are far more successful than mine, because some expectations are sky-high!
Fair enough. I didn’t realise he played that much that season. Still, he’s never played 30 league games or more at Man City. Last season he played 20 league games and only half of them were starts. For £100 million, you’d expect him to be starting more games.
Fake manufactured outrage. Did Sven or Capello sing it? Wasn't a problem then so why now? Just the mail, telegraph and express trying to stoke up the flagwaving little Englanders.
