we can't keep 'playing well' and not getting results
we need to just take the lead on friday, the longer we go without it, the players will lose trust and belief in tim

Think we need a win, simples, the longer this winless run goes under Tim, the more the pressure mounts, and performances dip. Also would help them buy into the new playing style, knowing that it can succeed if done correctly.

The new playing style thing is an illusion. We honestly look no different to under liam. I'm yet to see a difference.

We do, and I'm sure we will, but having signed 15 new players this year and a lot of them very late in the window, with a new manager - it's understandable that it might take more time than you'd expect if we had the same players and manager.

A lot of fans were called bed wetters when they complained the transfers weren't happening quick enough and the end of the window was treated as a 'gotcha' moment to them.

Well here we are at game 5 with a lot of our signings having yet to even start a game let alone gel chasing a win.

You don't need to win pre season games, you need to get your ideas and your team set. We couldn't do that so now we're playing catch up and it's understandable it might take a while longer than other teams who haven't had the turnover we've had.

Having said that i hope we smash the ****s and win every game from now until next may.

Wins needed, but avoiding a loss is imperative. I'm really not sure what starting 11 we're going to see so quite difficult to make a call...

Took Boro couple of months after a similar rebuild last year, but they stuck with it and finished strongly.

Hopefully things will settle down similarly here given time.

Chatting to a mate today, took him hours to get back from Wigan on Friday night. Arrived back home at 3am. Apparently the diversions took him onto a road with more diversions and road works....Jeez, this country is broken....

Not sure what their squad cost, but just seen Leeds stands at 146 million and expect SU to be more. Yes we need a result but if we dont get anything, it is not season over. If we could sneak halfway at new year, with the right signings we can still make playoffs, which would still be a good season.

God forbid, a heavy defeat and I wonder if the brains team will be thinking of having a word in the owners shell-like...though I'd say that's probably a month too early..
    Got a feeling we'll do okay. 2-1 win or a tight 1-1.

It’s too early to say it’s a must win, but everyone (the team and the fans) could do with a result to feel like it’s going in the right direction. If we want to be on track for a top six finish we’ll need to be as close to 16 points after 10 games as possible (we had 15 points after the first 10 games last season), otherwise we’ll need some seriously impressive runs to make up the shortfall during the rest of the season.

What do you mean by the brains team having "a word in the owners shell-like"? They have as much if not more (I would say a lot more) responsibility for where we're at. They'll have identified and analysed new coaches and players, not Acun.

There's differences. We are far more direct when we break the press we just seem to be struggling to do so at the moment. Not to mention our midfield are seeing far less of the ball than they did last season.

Obviously TWT if it works but Walter and Rosenior are far from the same
