Giggs couldn`t put a tackle in like Rigg and I don't think I've seen Rigg whip balls into the box like Giggs, yet.
I bet his lass isn't getting shagged by his brother either but that wasn't my point. My point is he has great balance like Giggs, can run with the ball at great pace and change direction at will without losing control. Is that ok?
Hey easy petal, I agree with you on the balance and pace, but, did you ever see Giggs put in tackles like Rigg?
Ask him who he models his game on... https://x.com/SunderlandAFC/status/1832358150588035353?t=MeQTNEm2jWRvVSSpJzgSfw&s=19
Phil Foden, the way he moves with the ball and vision m is something I’ve never seen from a Sunderland player.
Aye in terms of comparison it's got to be someone who loves a tackle because it's a big part of his playing style and character. It's interesting that nobody, including me, has suggested anyone he's particularly similar to. Foden's probably the closest but Rigg's more inclined towards the defensive side of the game.
Chris reminds me very much of my old school mate Bryan Robson ie Captain Marvel what a player he was !!
Must be my age mate, but even as a schoolboy at Birtly South you could see he was head and shoulders above the rest of us. I was on the end of lots of his crunching tackles during training but he was a top lad. I lost touch when my parents moved us from Chester-le-Street to Washington.
going to be a big bidding war on him soon, hes being looked at from clubs all over by the top clubs in Europe
Let's hope Speakman isn't in on the negotiations - he'll let him go for £2.5m and a 5% sell-on clause...
