Saw it mentioned a few times that our esteemed leader and general paraag said all transfer money from sales would be reinvested in the squad. Anyone got a link to him saying this

Thought it was any players leaving will be replaced with similar level players.

As Emu said, but the words used can be insinuated in different ways. Archie as a RB has been replaced with a real RB so can be seen as better. Summerville has been replaced by 2 players who could show to be better, Rutter as yet hasn’t been replaced but in our new Jap could if played there could prove invaluable but he has deffo replaced Kamara. All very subjective and gives Maratha wriggle room and a big profit

similar level players... he sold professional footballers and replaced them with professional footballers, not semi-pro or amatuer. Can't argue with facts

He could be thinking we should get promoted with what we have, he is building a war chest to be used on players for the Premier League

No matter what he said its very hard to replace like for like in the championship. Not knocking any of our new players but a few still have to prove something. Soloman is to good for this league but has a injury history can we keep him fit? our foreign intake Ramazani,Schmidt,Tanaka all look good on paper and have ability but now need to adapt to English football. we could have anything they actually could be better than whats left the club but then again they might not be half the players thats gone.

Soloman will stay fit because I don’t think many championship defenders will get near him. As for the others it’s a case of wait and see but they have been playing in fairly physically demanding leagues.
