I am sure he will leave for a Turkish club on deadline day, problem is Turkey removed obligation to field 3 native players, so there is less incentive to bring a native talent.
medical was done Wednesday according to reports... maybe with everyone seemingly having the weekend off, the social media people didnt get the video signed off... we shall see...
Mark Robbins wants the transfer window scrapped and for clubs to be able to trade all year round. Must admit I agree with him. Why is it still a thing? What's the reason for it?
Clubs with more money can just buy when they want leaving it a bit unfair for the rest. Level playing field is what it’s supposed to bring but as the relegated clubs from the prem have more mulla doesn’t really make sense
To me it's created less of a level playing field. A transfer window just enables the best to snapped up in a rush and a battle leaving the scraps for the rest to look for. No transfer window would stop the mad rush that happens and leave a fair amount of talent for everyone. I think what I've said I a fair argument. Think about it. If you can buy, players whenever you want instead of a mad rush less big clubs will feel forced to splash when they can.
I'm sure there was note in one of the Alzate reports that mentioned he would link up with the team today. To me that means it might even be his first day in Hull day and with the window being shut/him being a free agent theres no rush to announced it if it's all signed and sealed. Gives the media team a chance to have everything lined up before announcing. Compare that to the deadline day signings only getting their media day/content out last week.
OK if ya look at a team doing OK but with a few gems in their team, unscrupulous bids are made unsettling players, especially by teams in and around them. I'm more in favour of the transfer window extending across the close season, when play starts it closes. That way clubs get what's needed for the full season, or look forward to a season of struggle.
Just watched a podcast with the clowns Baz & Fletch trying to stir utter nonsense no days off players unhappy etc. Poor start to the season but spouting utter rubbish isn’t helping. I have worked in Germany and Germans do take a bit of getting used too they can appear quite cold and robotic till you get to know them, maybe poor Baz is used to Rosie answering every question asked and he thought he had a chair at the table.
