Talk of a hostile reception and it was proper quiet.

Had to be Rice and Grealish scoring. Rice a bit muted in his celebration both should have gone full slide corner flag badge kiss. Grealish did what Grealish can do and was at times brilliant. Grealish showed exactly why Starmer should have Southgate arrested as well now for not taking Grealish to the euros. A crime was committed. Gordon rinsed his opponent. Ireland are a not a good international side.

Kane was still playing walking football.

A good summary, only thing I would add, arrest Starmer as well, he is a bleeding liar.

It became a pre-season friendly in the second half. The first half was really good and put them to bed, the second half was just giving players minutes. They may dress it up as the nations league, but most countries still view these as friendlies.

I think the first half and second half were identical to what happened in the Euros.
Back then we did well early and then did what we did yesterday, play with zero ambition in the 2nd half.

Against Ireland you get away with it, but in the Euros, after a very lucky passage, we got what we deserved.
