Very disappointing to see Tom Lawry excluded. He has done little wrong other than get injured. I feel our greatest problem at the moment is a lack of creativity in mid field - Pack excepted. Potts and Kamara are the unknowns and perhaps they are the solutions. But if not, or if Pack and/or Potts get injured I would see Lawrey as potentially more creative than Moxon and Dozzell. It is ironic that two of the three excluded are mid fielders - our problem area in my opinion. I understand Stevenson's omission although I sympathize since he has done nothing wrong. From what I have seen of him I rate him on a par with Dozzell although the latter has the better pedigree. It is, of course all very well to say Lowry should be included but who should be left out to make room for him? We have to assume that Poole and MacIntyre are close enough to fitness to have significant roles before January. But that being the case, and given Towler's prowess to this point, perhaps signing Bowat was óver recruitment."
