I am no expert on this subject, I can only go by experience. A friend over here suffered and his doctor sent him to a specialist residential centre for three months where they carried out brain scans, and adjusted his medication after each scan. Eventually he went home and was a new man, until he decided not to take his medication as prescribed. His wife went to do some shopping and returned to find that he had taken his own life.
So he should have been one of the lucky ones to be treated and given a decent life. Instead, he created much sorrow by thinking he knew more than the specialists. I feel for both your son, you and your wife BB.

I think the 'failing to take the medication' bit is unfortunately all too common. I had a staff member in my office in Queensland who often used to make life 'uncomfortable' for everyone else there by not taking her medication - in her words because the side effects affected her as badly as the symptoms. Things came to a head one morning when she came in, jumped up on a table and started swearing at everyone & throwing whatever she could lay her hands on at them (ruined a rather expensive PC doing that) - all in full view of the public. I had no choice but to physically remove her from the office, which led to more problems - she lodged a complaint against me, claiming discrimination on the grounds of disability. A less than pleasant experience for all involved.

    RIP Sol Bamba.
Too young, and scant reward for the health battles he won.

Those articles speak volumes about Dunfermline's manager - wanted shot of Bamba when approached by Watford, glad to have him back when the transfer fell through, then offloaded him to Hibs a couple of weeks later.

I remember wondering why we pulled out of the deal at the time - especially after we had gone to the trouble of sending a doctor to China to conduct Bamba's medical - he was there on international duty.

If I remember rightly, he was one of the victims of the post-Endean cull undertaken by Shankly in 1970. I never understood why he only ever won two Scotland caps - always thought he was worth more.

    An Alzheimer's victim I believe.

Darth Vader, aka James Earl Jones, dead at 93.
A seventy year career in showbusiness is no mean feat...

It was his riff and he got paid seven quid for it. He also wrote "Grandad" by Clive Dunn!

I remember seeing him in Sky the band he formed with John Williams, an excellent original group, class act. At one point during a concert he brought out this Tuba decorated with fairy lights, sat on the edge of the stage and played something silly which I think was called "a tube of smarties".

If you like Melody you'd have to go a long way to beat 'Carillon ' by the Sky Group

I have good taste - and judgement. Was one of those saying think again when Mr Taylor considered offering Ross Jenkins Snr to Luton Under 10s during the early days.
Seriously though,RIP Mr Flowers and any of Blue Mink who may have gone but hopefully not required
