Or even that he hasn't had any real time off for over 2 years having been training, playing etc the last 2 summers.
Krafth is getting a lot of **** on here that’s uncalled for. He was bought for next to nowt and has improved massively from the bumbling idiot Bruce bought. Let’s give some credit when it’s due
Here is what i think about Gordon being off , everybody talked about no playing time at euros...him being associated with top clubs during the transfer window and his head being turned etc....but if you watch the interview with the Neville sister he is so full of joy when asked who his best mate at Newcastle is...the lad who he had so much in common with and i guess made him feel at home....you have to remember he is still a young adult away from his hometown for the first time in his career, was sold at the end of June. He may not fit in with the majority of the players and feels alone. At the minute he looks like a bairn who lost their favourite one eyed teddy and needs a replacement real quick.
He's a young lad who was screwed over by southgate in the summer and was training all that time too. I think he's just a bit fatigued as he hasn't had the rest his team mates have. There may be a little bit of having his head turned but the lad is as grafter so will come good. He's a confidence player IMHO and perhaps right now his confidence needs building up again. That's where Eddie comes into it.
Lee Ryder your ratings are ****ing stupid: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spo...aem_uS0j4tcHnWcLVGRsZTb5Rg#Echobox=1725205206
They are all at least one mark too high and some of them a couple. With those scores you'd be mistaken for thinking we not only won but bossed the game.
With Livramento and Kelly getting 9s and Krafth an 8, it sounds like our defence was an impenetrable wall of solid steel....I don't know how you can give marks like this when we looked so wide open in the first half of the second half. Meanwhile Burn gives the ball away in dangerous positions and leathers it into his own net and gets a 7. It's all a bit "yeah we won, **** yeah" and adding a good 3 points on to everyone's eating just cos we won.
I actually thought that Burn had a good game despite the own goal and a couple of dreadful passes (which actually all of them were guilty of in the nightmare spell). He takes up good defensive positions covering the full back, cut a lot of balls out into the middle and also put in some well-timed tackles.
Performance all a bit Bramble esque, ie plays well but with huge mistakes. You can't give him a 7 when that OG was so hideous, and when Spurs should have easily scored when he gave it away to Son. Was a battling display to get the win despite a lack of fitness all around....or it Lee Ryder's eyes a defensive masterclass apparently.
I remember Bramble as generally producing poor to average performances with regular costly mistakes as an added bonus.
