We had a really wobbly patch around the time they scored. Everyone was giving the ball away. The substitutions improved things and we were looking comfortable for the last 15-20mins. Joelinton had a good game. Gordon had a bit of a stinker.
We didn’t play well again. But we won. That’s the main thing. We need to control games better. Our intensity appears to be gone. We are sitting deeper. Good start to the season though.
I’m worried we’re falling back into Rafaball. That’s my concern as it’s not sustainable. Some players are miles off where they were, Gordon chief among them. I don’t quite understand the dynamic.
good to see the chairman there. Hopefully he is giving the nod to release the stadium plans and knocking a few heads together so we learn from the last window
Got to be a reason for him to be there. An inquest of some sorts I would imagine. There is defo something not right. Playing poor and winning is a good thing mind.
Interesting this post. Quiet for so long. But the main man is in town and this happens. https://x.com/jamiereuben/status/1830256283561197577?s=46
The vi sit? And then this statement. Posted twice I know. https://x.com/jamiereuben/status/1830256283561197577?s=46
Yes this I agree with. I’ve said that we have not played well but we have ground out results so credit to Howe. Look at Manu today. Wasted 100’s of millions and look where they are. Chelsea also. Your right it’s just going to take time.
