Reason being, the trainer's website comments on the event speak favourably of the mare, and fancy her to run a big race. So, without further ado, this will be my selection today! Capable conditional, Finn Lambert (3) rides for the Richard Phillips stable. 28/1 (yes, 28/1) is the price early-doors, in nearly all places on the ATR site. Certainly worth a modest 'go' at these odds? We'll see.

Oh well, odds have increased from the early 28/1. Trainer might fancy the mare, but no one else does!

Gosh wish you had had just a couple of shekels on it. Richard Phillips was so bloody honest and straight on his own website (it was just a fluke that I stumbled on it) that I had to mention it on the forum. With all the jiggery-pokery that goes on in horseracing nowadays, it was so refreshing to report on a thoroughly decent and honest man in the hard business of training racehorses.
