Very assured, brave, wants to run at people and has a good first touch ... ... that's all, so far, but it's everything Burstow wasn't.
This is just for fun but it has to be said ... ... so far Simms, Ugbo, Moore have one league goal between them, half of O'Niens total No idea if Broadhead is even playing or if anyone else, people think we should've signed, has scored.
I don't want to be sounding too much like a jilted ex when it comes to Jack Clarke so I'll start by saying he was excellent for the cast majority of the time he was here especially in the Championship. I am still dissapointed he moved on but I was gutted at first! But Mundle look a player! And this succession planning looks like there could be something in it . He looks like he could have more to his game than Clarke but it's early days and we would be happy if he got to the same level!
We had to leave early to catch the train yesterday so I’ve just realised Rusyn came on I can’t see him getting many opportunities to impress but I hope he takes them when he is introduced. Still feels like he’s hardly played here
Jesus. And the 3 before us were Leeds, Boro, Luton. They got ****ed with the fixtures there. Could argue 7 of the 8 best teams in league.
Did have quite a few players out and new ones in which haven't yet played/bedded in. Shaughnessy (CB) injured Regan Poole (CB) injured Bishop (CF) injured Three big players for us. Also Mcintyre (CB) and Lowery (CM). All significant players for us. Once Shaghnessy and Poole get back we won't be so vulnerable at the back.
As a newly promoted team we've played: - Leeds away (3-3) - Luton home (0-0) - Boro away (2-2) - Sunderland h (1-3) 3 points from those isn't too bad and more than a lot were expecting.
Always difficult for promoted sides mate, it'll be touch and go I reckon ... ... I don't think there was anyone I'd want at Sunderland in all honesty. While you're on, do you mind me asking what you think of the drum at Fratton Park.
