Not often we agree Os. Fernandes and Dibling to start, maybe Lesley plus Lallana if he has 90 minutes in him, he looked class when he came on. I hope there's some soul searching going on in the post match analysis. unfortunately, this the modern football approach to positional play. Player A stands here, player b stands there, player c passes to player b who bounces to player A and magically we arrive in the opposition box and score in the bottom corner. Then they learn 20 other passing combinations that cover ‘scenarios’. Eventually, the idea is that these turn into automatisms akin to zen and the martial arts and the team acts without thinking. I’m taking the piss but the rules are real and the bravery that keeps getting referenced is following the rules even tho the consequence of a mistake is conceding 2 goals a game because the opposition isn’t a yellow plastic mannequin.
There's no place for anymore 'credit' after three defeats so it's the best players in their best positions no sentiment allowed. That means, in my not at all humble opinion, starts for Dibling and Fernandes possibly Lesley and Lallana as an early sub if he can't manage the full 90 minutes.
