Obviously they did a good job under Mowbray but found it very difficult when they were put in the frontline when Beale went , they have kept their roles under Reg who must rate them so therefore we have to assume they have found their level and good luck to them .
I get the sarcasm but I think it was a case of getting him on the pitch and it would have been hard on Mayenda to sub him. He also actually played right across the front line in the few minutes he played.

He looks fast, he can dribble, he times his runs and gets into good spots and, maybe this is the stupidest thing I have ever said, but even the way he doesn't score has me excited. He tests the keeper, he looks calm and he strikes the ball cleanly just maybe lacks that clinical edge to find the side netting. I'm really excited about him developing with proper game time. Still his shirt for me.

My understanding is that he got a very good contract, on par with but on the lower end of the first team spectrum (£4-7k pw), even the lower end is more than double the best 18-21 players that come through our academy tend to get.
