Loads not getting the irony behind saying our lot look like they’ve never played with each other

    I agree with this
Thought first half we looked good after first ten minutes
Hate to say they are a good side and second half we were found wanting
Lot of positives with some good individuals
A team will take time to gel
I hope the fans back Walter he doesn’t deserve to carry the can for this

What's most frustrating is Leeds looked a very average side. We didn't look like scoring despite continuously getting told to expect attacking football with lots of goals.

Sheffield United is almost looking like a must win now

    Half-time we're in that game,everyone's buzzing,we're doing well,Slater's copping a bit of flak(par for the course).

    Fast Forward 45 minutes,we create **** all,they're all ****e,Jarvis is mince,Millar not much better..

****ing hell,it's comedy at it's finest!!!

We're some way off the finished article,it's disappointing that we're not gathering more points but we've just brought in some trickery who have yet to be blooded...Today was a shot to nothing, sore one to lose(against them) but most expected it anyway.

I'll criticise when it's due and what I will say is I was gutted we never pushed the boat out and signed a marquee striker to get on the end of things. That should've been priority No1 and it may well come back and bite the arse off the Turk...His problem to deal with!!

The rest of the players we brought in will play decent Football,of that I have no doubt.

Regulation home win for a very average Leeds team in the end, I thought we might get a draw after a decent first half but in the end we looked what we are, a team full of strangers playing a missmash formation that no-one seems happy with.
Bedia looked a threat in the first half despite playing by himself up front, and Millar had a good first half but faded badly in the second as Bedia did. Slater looks totally at odds with what he is asked to do as does Giles who didn't look happy, again, when he was subbed, I'm sure he mouthed '****ing 5hite' as he brushed past Walter leaving the field. However, two nil flattered Leeds, but to be fair we didn't deserve anything out of the game. We end August with three points more than i thought we'd get, so all is (hopefully) not lost yet.

Which is what I’ve been saying all summer and some people on here (not saying you, Syd) replied ‘just wait until the end of the window before making any judgements’.

Rosenior was gone in May and Walter started July 1st. The club knew Greaves and Philogene would be going ages ago (since May at least) and they also knew we’d have zero chance of getting Delap, Morton, Carvalho, Zaroury etc. permanently. The fact we’ve conducted most of our transfer business to rebuild a gutted squad in mid-to-late August is ridiculous and the board are entirely to blame for it.

Was always going to be up against it. They had Aaronson in midfield who cost more than our whole team together. They should’ve got promoted last year and this year again it’ll be them and the teams with parachute payments who go up.

I don't get the fuss to be honest. Thought we matched them for a lot of that - a team rightly targeting autos.

We've yet to introduce at least 5 of our new signings at all by my count, some of the others haven't had long yet, the players we had last season are still learning a new system and I have to say, Coyle, Macca and even Jones are starting to do so much more in contributing to getting us up the pitch quickly. If they keep doing that we just need to get the new lads up top firing, three of which only joined us yesterday.

Palmer played a matter of minutes, Zambrano is looking great but has barely played 90. Bédia and Burstow similar amount of time clocked. Millar is looking good but you could see he was frustrating Giles at times and was making some poor decisions today.

We've got a very new team gradually gelling together. If we're still playing like this in a few months then fair enough, but as it stands right now you can see that we're getting into good positions and in far more space than we're used to seeing last season. We're still relying on out of position players and academy players higher up the pitch, one of which made two errors which cost us both goals today. Without that happening we probably walk away with a point again, or maybe more.

We're a team in transition. The confidence will build as the team chemistry does. You can see us improving, certainly from pre season and the opening game, so we just need to wait until it clicks.

I was being adventurous and looking up a recipe for a Steak and Guinness Pie – but I may just try this after today’s result. Does it go well with mash and gravy?

Decent bloke as well... he tells it like it is... I haven't seem his interview post match but I suspect he will be pleased in some regards but not others. We have some fabulous talent now at our disposal who will not be going back to their loan base next season and for times today with some who will not be in the first team we looked much better and definitely completed with a high revenue team. He demands 100%, 100% of the time and we're not there yet.

To be fair to them, I think they've realised the problem. We've had to chuck in a load of new player cos we just didn't have anyone else. But it feels like it's with the aim of building something so we don't have to do it like that again.

He really doesn’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if Acun does throw him under the bus. He’s got form for it.

I agree on Tim Walter,he certainly doesn't deserve any flak for this,he's trying his best in extremely difficult circumstances.

And posters can stop saying leeds are **** or average
    They really aren’t
    They’ll be definite top 6
    Likely top 3
All teams are finding out how to put into practice their preseason coaching and assimilating new players in
But I doubt any has as many new players to assimilate into the team as ours and in such a short space of time

    clusterfuck
