Yeah i knew the Dutch one was next week but wasnt sure on what other leagues There will be interest in them
Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland stand out as decent destinations to me. (Good to hear re: interest)
The bench looks light which suggests a few fringe players are leaving. That will be filled next match with the new signings so no issues with depth.
The positive spin on it is I don’t think we’d have signed Mepham if he hadn’t got injured. And Mepham improves us. but no luck for the lad
Posted in the other thread but if Burnley and Blackburn finish as a draw (currently in 93rd minute) we’re guaranteed to go into the international break in the top 3, no matter what happens today.
Cracking thread RTB. Pleased Mayenda keeps his spot. Deserves it. Also pleased to see Rusyn still in the plans. I wont give up on him just yet personally. Might be one to impact games from the bench this season still.
I think he can be handy in a high press especially now it’s effectively 442 out of possession so he’s not aimlessly hounding people
see a lot of complaints about are squad you've got that bench and then we are also missing seelt (injured) huggins (injured) Aji (injured) neil (suspended) 4 new lads to come in
Sunderland AFC confirms that Aji Alese is expected to be unavailable for 12 weeks. The defender has enjoyed an impressive start to the 2024-25 season, but he sustained an ankle injury in training earlier this week at the Academy of Light. Alese will undergo further tests next week to finalise his rehabilitation programme, with the 23-year-old currently targeting a return to action following the November international break. All at SAFC wish Aji a swift recovery.
