Surely if we were signing a striker tonight the name would be out there by now even if the club were actively trying avoid the name coming out in the media.

I mean just once in a while it would be nice to have a Hull City player top of the league goal scoring charts.

We never seem to have a player at this level that just goes bananas with the goals, like Hooper or Sharp did at Scunny, or Szmodics, or Vardy, or Mitrovic.
Think Hernandez is the only player to make it to 20 goals at this level in recent years.

 

We all knew it wasn't Shankland - when he arrived at Birmingham.

 

So is now the time to be critical?

I think we’ve made some excellent signings but we’re Meffert and a striker short of a shot at the top 6. With this group top 10 would be a great achievement.

 

Which makes getting a keeper in on loan a waste.
