We don’t even use a target man in this system man, what is it with people struggling to differentiate striker styles. Not every striker is a target man and a high pressing system needs a pressing centre forward it’s the first line of press. That’s why we’ve targeted the likes of Cannon and not some big ****er who can’t move

 

I think the money will be spent on the Serbian lad and loan fees. I don't think we'll sign a CF for a good fee

 

I didn’t say that but you tell I’m wrong and Wilson was not brought in to replace Clarke
Mundel was crap and then comes in and scores a great goal does that make him Clarke replacement

The mood on here is massively different to normal. Wonder why? People realising we are being let down again in the striker hunt. The fact we have signed Isidore is great but we have failed to sign a proven experienced striker again it is really that simple.

Who have we got lined up as alternatives as it really seems like bottom of the barrel stuff at this stage

 

So does that mean we are not getting a centre forward

 

God folk losing the plot already, lets wait n see who we bring in and how we look at the end of the window

No point moaning about things until it actually closes, then we will be able to tell how we feel about the window

 

Ideally we need a 3rd striker, I agree.

We can't ignore the fact we have Wilson who will likely start matches up front. We also have an understudy in Mayenda who isn't anywhere near as useless as being made out this season.

We're now scoring from multiple positions which is a massive improvement over last season.

 

Mundle was definitely a signing based on being the eventual Clarke replacement. Good future planning.

 

Brilliant news mate. I think the lad will play at a good level with us and be an asset even this season.
