sheets are soaked. The rest of you are in denial, hoping that form of 2 years ago re-appears. I predict Burn or Kraft to get injured on Sunday..... then you will all be bed ****ters never mind wetters!
Hopefully both as Kelly needs to earn his £150k and so is presumably better than Burn, then Schar is back and better than Krafth.
Where’s that quote where howe said something like “some of the names amuse me but it helps deflect from where we’re really operating” or something?!
It's really not very strange... they could get who they wanted and we don't know what went on. Let's look at last summer in which we all wanted diaby . He turned out to be ****
That winger Nuamah looks like signing for Everton. Again be remiss to say I know he’s great but is he really worse than Murphy? Read that Forest wanted a player offer in exchange for elanga and we immediately refused. Assuming they weren’t expecting Isak or Bruno, who do ee have that’s irreplaceable?! This day just gets weirder. Not even angry, as this was clearly going to happen, but it’s weird.
For all we know they don't want to waste an amount because they want to put it towards a far far superior player next year. They have to get it right not settle for this and that.
I heard this in January, mate. It’s nonsense. Nobody can know the future besides guaranteed income streams. If we finish around 12th we’ll be a selling club for a while, and with no scouting acumen I don’t know how anyone rescues this mess. Really feels like, whilst Barnes/Hall was average to poor choices, and then Januarys zero movement was poor though understandable, this window has been an unmitigated disaster.
Dont worry, we'll smash it in Jan, honest. in the meantime press will stir the pot that Isak, Bruno and Gordon will want away in Jan.
Look mate I understand everyone wants signings and I do to, but they decided which players they wanted based on all the information they have and when they couldn't get then they decided not to bother. They don't want to settle for players and potentially cost the club long-term. It could prove the best decision they've made..we have to wait and see.
