I never have any expectations for the transfer window. If I'm honest though, this transfer window with a new manager in, I would have thought maybe 2 or 3 new players in. It's unusual for a new manager not to buy straight away.
I kind of expected the opposite. New manager in with half team late back from euros and 3 key players out of contracts - I expected it to be a wait and see window where gets a good idea of the team and it be a development season where we just get top 4 (maybe win a cup). Club then know if we need a new RE/RB/CB next year, that plus the manager being in for a season and knowing what he needs. I fully expect, assuming we get CL, with the additional CL money from this year and guarantee for next year, we would potentially go big.
