not to be a negative nelly but seems a step down from mendy, cannon, simic, orban etc 20 years old and gent youth, not sure its what needed for immediate improvement
I'll never complain about the club signing a 6ft5 forward from a club like Benfica. It didn't work out but it's always worth a punt.
that’s what I meant above by red herring. I think it’s a coincidence he’s being signed today. I would be gobsmacked if he’s “next in line” behind the ones you mentioned
A thousand times this mate. I think he was mishandled at the start. He looked very good in pre-season, and shouldn’t have been thrown to the dogs after 1 game by the gaffer. Not like Mowbray either was a strange one.
Performative stuff from TM - as was much of his carry-on last season. Ultimately it got him the sack. If he'd buttoned it, both he and SAFC would have probably been better off.
I get that but I’ve got more sympathy for Mowbray than Hemir tbh Joke of a window last summer and he was up against it Anyway it’s done now, onwards and upwards.

Graeme Murty must be licking his lips at being able to have a striker who’s scored for fun in an adult league as his main guy. It’s basically Hemir out, this lad in. I like it.
Its future planning, cant be put off going fir players like this just because someone like Hemir hasnt been a success with us
