It's so tiring. You write a very detailed and careful response to something, outlining the evidence. It gets ignored but then people come back a day later and post more of the same dog whistle nonsense.

Not sure people understand the point. I referred to the point about a crime being a crime and being punished in the same way - think it was Archers perhaps making a point about it being a good thing depending on who the crime was against. I then made the point to Spider-Man, think they suggested as it wasn’t ABH it wasn’t an issue (paraphrasing), and I inertejcted as the crime of throwing a milkshake was battery. Sorry, Billy. Not everything here is aimed at you! I don't agree with Archers. A crime is a crime. I do believe these crimes are dealt with properly and that the law is not political on things like this. I have yet to see one person treated differently due to their political leaning. Case in point being: Former Labour Councillor has not pleaded guilty and so obviously not yet been tried, whereas all the racist rioters did plead guilty and so were tried quickly. I also think a London Festival is different to a race riot. But you aren't the one making these comments.

It’s almost as if they didn’t want it solved in a timely manner to make a political issue over it. To be able to push Rwanda scheme but in general. It’s what the right did in America so why not here?
Definitely agree that the Tories used asylum seekers as a political issue. Since Labour took power, as of 21st Aug there have been 9 “return” flights, removing failed asylum seekers. I don’t know how many people were on each of those flights but one was said to have had around 200. I don’t know how this compares to what was happening under the tories but it’s a seemingly decent start.
