Fabrizo Romano reporting that Lyon are getting Wifred Zaha on loan, might be a Domino that needs to fall for letting him go…

Some loans especially good ones are just as expensive as signings these days but aye, penny pinching etc will come out, don’t really care as long as we leave the window stronger than we entered it

    Of course not.

People will still find something to complain about.

Loans are fine as long as they are for players we couldn't realistically sign and improve the first team - Amad a perfect example.

I'd personally prefer it to be 2 Loans max so it's not a huge upheaval when they leave.

You see clubs with 4 or 5 loan players and they have to replace neatly half a team just to stand still the next season and I don't believe that's the right way to do things

I'm never in favour of too many loans,in or out,but those with an option can be good business,of course depending on the terms.

I bet even on Man City forums they have just as many moaning. Too reliant on Haaland for goals, why didn’t we sign x who went to Real Madrid etc. Moaners will moan if they can find an angle.
Much prefer trying to see what we have and take joy from it. Fantastic young team expressing themselves and a new manager from left field who has us playing aggressive attacking football. It’s a good time to sit back, enjoy the ride and not get stressed by what I have absolutely no control over. Fingers crossed for an exciting day.

Loan with option to buy is absolutely fine, such as the Wilson deal.

    Try before you buy.

Orban is a real step up in calibre, yes he’d have to deliver but if there’s any truth in it it shows we’re serious.

Headline writers across the country must be praying we can get Orban done!

The gift that keeps on giving, Orban delivers, Orbans last minute gift...etc etc.

What an opportunity, get it done KS lad!

There's absolutely loads of loan deals being done by the clubs across the country.
The whingers will whinge. They never change.

If we do get Orban it shows the type of CF we are after. For this pressing system a CF who is fast, agile and can carry the ball seems to be prioritised and with strikers like this you will usually see that they’ve played on the wing before.
