Unfortunately for me I met my Mrs on the dancefloor many many years ago steaming to don't look back in anger. If I had a gun was our wedding dance. So she loves oasis, nearly as much as me, therefore she is coming with us. So, sort of, some decorum.
My missus is coming mate. She is more lairy than me when mood takes, so no slowing me down for that ha.
I didn't settle down till I was 30. That period 1989 through to mid noughties I was on pure work the week, party hard the whole weekend proper foot to the floor and anything offered to me was consumed and tbh, am very lucky to still be alive. lolz. I did a lifetime's over indulgenses and hedonistic habituals in that period and this time round I want to come away with actual memories rather then blurs (scuse the pun) and wondering how I ended up many miles away from where I was, sleeping on a park bench and having to work out how to get home ready for work on Monday. lol. A couple of shandies and lots of warm feelings is the plan.........but I have said that many times before and been carried to the taxi by the wife and kids. lolz.
We offered out 17 year old the chance but he’s got it in his head he’s claustrophobic and doesn’t like crowds unfortunately! I think most of the audience will be like that mate. I’ve got some making up to do as last time I got really drunk and obnoxious at the SOL watching them and accidentally spat beer all over my missus (I get reminded all the time )
I’d rather have mended it at Disney on Ice and had a wild lads throwback weekend but she can join. Few of the lads are also bringing their missus so hopefully they swan off and compare lipsticks or some **** and we can do our thing
Feeling the same. Seen them about 6 times so it’s not something I’ve never seen but £300 bites for me and the mrs at Manchester is a tough sell for me. seating at another venue is cheaper but digs will be astronomical unless we do it all in a day which means no drinks.
Yeah I'm lucky in that regard that the missus has a lot of extended family in and around London and so she can have a Portuguese weekender with the Oasis gig part of it. If I can get the tickets then probs the tube after to Brixton and then spend a couple of days there. Paying for digs isn't really in my budget.
Ballot day today ! Good luck to everyone on here. Ps I’m persisting with oasis on my playlist in the car until it’s all over !
Anybody know what being successful in the ballot actually entails? Does it mean guaranteed seats or is it just you get early access to another small number of seats so get to miss out twice?
the early access to a limited pot I assume is perhaps an hour earlier tomorrow? As they’re running out of time for it surely?
