    Ramsdale strikes me as the kind of character who’d enjoy registering at 11:59am tomorrow, announcing at 10:59pm tomorrow then turning up unexpectedly in the starting XI on Saturday when everyone thought he wasn’t eligible.

    I have it on good authority that Ramsdale actually came to the Saints post-Wembley party in the team hotel (not dressed as Hagrid) as one of the Brooks family guests and Russ was telling him to come to Saints after the pair had a few beers. And now it's actually going to happen <laugh>

    Plenty of Saints fans were joking about him joining when he was spotted in the stands. I don't think anyone, fans, Martin or probably even Ramsdale, thought it might actually happen.

    Still not entirely sure I believe it now mind you!
