I'd be delighted with 3-0 mate. Games like this Portsmouth one, I always think that half the battle is matching or beating the opposition in terms of being up for the fight. Do that and we have tons of quality to hurt them.

I think you're right with all that mate, they're a League One outfit like Wycombe under Ainsworth ...

... they punch above their weight, now and again, but it's always tinged with cheating.

I hope to win. I expect us to win but a point wouldnt be a bad result away from home.

A point would represent a cracking start to the season. We’re good enough to win though, definitely!

Cracking thread again RTB. Thanks again. Difficult game in what will no doubt be a hostile atmosphere. If play the game we can win it . Don't get involved in the inevitable ****housery that will come our way. Looking forward to a long weekend away with son grandson and son in law. I'm going away win just but would be content with a draw. Keep the faith lads and lasses.

Not sure where you are, but the button on the main site does not work for me (France). However if I go into my account and look at my past subscriptions, there is a "join Now" button, and that works.
It does seem to work in other countries. Looks like the web site setup is wrong.

We sold it out a midweek when we were absolute ****e and knew we were gonna lose mate. The away following the club had is unmatched.

Genuinely astounds me given the lack of any success.

Cheers mate, I'm just on holiday in Turkey. I can't even see the login icon tbh. I'll just follow the thread instead. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I have a feeling RLB will play this slightly differently.

Portsmouth haven't won and it's always their big day against Sunderland so I expect they'll come out all guns blazing.

We'll have quite some pace, in the front three, and players who can fire some good long passes over the top.

I think we'll play it a bit more compact and mainly leave one up front.

The way RLB has us running so hard, and tracking back, we're defending as well as I've seen us for quite some time ...

... we could end the season with more clean sheets than a Chinese laundry.

Fancy another clean sheet to keep the prick with the drum quiet.

0-1 and still top o the league.
