Seems every journalist is piling in on Newcastle's window; Edwards, Kennedy, Cronin, Downie. Caulkin will do his write up for Saturday, it ain't going to be pretty.

Meh, I'm not bothered, just writing a post and sharing it on a forum. What is interesting is the press can drive emotions in the fanbase and the overwhelming viewpoint is as negative as I'm accused of being, which doesn't bode well for difficult matches like Sunday.

More stirring of the pot with claims Howe only wanted Guehi and wouldn't entertain any other options, whereas Mitchell made recomendations that were ignored (allegedly). Again, don't hoy pelters, just passing it on for those that don't have the same news feeds or socials.
 
This is straight up unacceptable if we don't sign anyone like, i thought the no ambition days were over.

Most logical explanation is the end of Howe. Mitchell worked a lot with Niko Kovac and, most tellingly, Poch, both are all still without a club. He also had a hand in Nagelsman joining RB Leipzig, apparently.

The journalists will see the opportunity to play the Newcastle fans like a flute over this...they know they're moaning, so they'll add fuel to the flames and make their tantrums feel vindicated.

Everyone needs to accept the situation and forget about it! How about for once the fans don't it up the arse any more than they need to.

Christmas is coming soon it's like 15 weeks and tbh even a year is nothing... when you get older you realise this.

Why has our entire transfer window centred around just TWO players, both are from probably the one club in the World who absolutely despise us? Who have plenty money from the Olise/Anderson deals and don't need to sell? I mean, am I over-simplifying this or does it feel like the stupidest ****ing idiocy ever witnessed in a transfer window?

You'd have to be pretty ****ing stupid to focus solely on the one team least likely to want to do a deal with you.

It’s basically been the worst window since the takeover for more reasons than one.

I wondered and still do if the money is actually there. I know it looks like we tried to sign Guehi.

But at the prices I think we have walked away.
 
Only the fans will be daft enough to blame Mitchell when he's going to be judged over years not weeks.

The club will have a plan and contrary to the angry fans entitled beliefs it will be based on far more information than some tattooed ****wit Neanderthals that have nothing but here say and their thoughts.
