Yeah the club seemed to create an expectation around that via off-the-record info. That being said, I'd be quite interested in Tom Watson being winger. The chatter about the Mexican winger seems to indicate that it's still a live aim, though.
Good - they’re needed Mundle played well on Saturday but he’s 21 and still inexperienced, can’t be relied upon every week I really hope we sign a striker and another who can operate out wide.
Funny that I was well up for Simic, but because he's opting for Cardiff, I'm now no longer arsed at all. If he actually thinks joining Cardiff and then loaned out to Belgium is a better career move than coming to Sunderland, then he obviously has zero confidence in his ability, and his career will amount to nothing. I probably look bitter as **** saying that, but I only want players here who want to be here, and picking ****ing Cardiff over us tells you everything you need to know about him.
