Hi all. I will volunteer again to admin the 2024/5 Prediction League, and all posters are welcome to join in. The Rules - please read Each member will make a prediction before match kick off and will predict the score and name the scorers. Each member will then earn 2 Points for predicting correct result [for example an Arsenal Win]. Bonus Points - Each member will then earn an additional bonus of 3 Points (making 5 in Total) if they predict the correct result & scoreline [for example Arsenal 3-0 Crystal Palace]. - Each member will then earn an additional Bonus Point per each correctly named scorer. So if you get the result & scoreline correct you will get a minimum of 5 points, and you can get extra additional points for naming the scorers. If you don't get result or scoreline correct you can still get bonus points for naming scorers. If you correctly predict 0-0 (it's such a brave call) then you will get 7 points in total - 5 for the correct result and scoreline, and 2 bonus points for naming no-one from each side. Cup Games & CL & EL In the event we play in a game that may require extra time or penalties please make your prediction as normal - for example Arsenal 2 Barcelona 1, or Bayern 10 Arsenal 2. If game goes to extra time you will get 2 points if you get the result correct irrespective if it is in extra time or after penalties. So in this example if Arsenal win after extra time or penalties you will get 2 points. If you get the score correct then you will get 5 points irrespective if it is in extra time or normal time - obviously you won't get 5 points if it goes to penalties.
