I agree. In my head if we were bringing in 2 then Isidor was for the left wing. If only one comes in then that means potentially requiring Isidor to be considered more as a central option. Rusyn can then give us that additional cover for the left.

I'm sure he was signed as cover for Clarke last season incase Clarke left back end of window?

Yeah, this is my worry. We could have afforded to be short with centre mid tbf, with Jones, Lenz and that other good lad whose name escapes me.

He wouldn’t be the worst option to have on the bench given he can play wide and on top

He can't play up top though, we've seen that. He's like a headless chicken

Not to big up Regis too much, but I'm thinking (20% hoping) he has a plan if Hume or Cirkin, or both are missing...3 at the back I'm guessing.

Question is, would such a formation change hinder us to the point of changing our seasons prospects?

I think RLB said he doesn't see Rusyn as a LW option.

Mundle is the man in possession of the shirt and you could argue that Isidor, Watson OR Poveda could provide options there.
Be great to have Simic up top with Mayenda and Isidor as options off the bench.

I must have missed that, MadMackem is saying there's still a chance he goes anyway so don't think he's in our plans either way!

Johnson wouldn't let us down in his more natural CB role, then we could move O9 to full back, or bring Triantis in at CB. Also, hopefully in January, we'll have Huggins and Seelt, then it won't look bad at all.
If we can get a loan in until January, all well and good, but as long as midfield and up top is well covered, I won't have any cause for complaint with this transfer window.

Yeah he’s got a brilliant engine, I was more leaning toward the fact he’s not fast or quick in the turn and he’s not too clever chasing back which is a full backs bread and butter when we lose the ball high up the pitch. Defo agree with Huggins he should be the priority for minutes when he’s fit I’m just starting to worry about the injuries he’s picking up, they don’t seem normal for such a young player. Back injuries, problems in his knees before he picked up the injury that’s required surgery, heel injuries. Hope it’s just me being ever the pessimist and we can get some regular football out of the boy because he’s clearly talented.

Williams has been a bit ****e for the last few years I can’t see many bigger clubs being in for him mind think he suits what we’ve been shopping for in high reward lower risk players who’ve not really performed up until now.
