Weird how often they’ve featured in our great and most memorable results though. 85 semi was my first ever Roker trip. Only ever Midlands based away games prior to that being a Cov kid. ( sort of).
Am sure there were some quotes recently from RLB saying he had no plans for another RB and that he can change formation in the unlikely event Hume gets injured. If Alese IS injured, then maybe the thinking has changed there (or maybe Johnson won't go out on loan) Hume-O'Nien'Ballard-Cirkin Johnson-Triantis-Hjelde-Alese First defence looks good, second one doesn't
Perhaps a little demanding but for me only if the 'Prem loan' was fullback cover and if we managed a lot of outgoings as otherwise our squad is ridiculously big which will only impact on team spirit, minutes available for player development and pathway potential.
hey, I’ve copyrighted that meme. when I met speakman on Saturday I was going to show him it and get a photo of him holding my phone with the photo on it, bottled it.
I think a fair few could find themselves out of the picture as they dont fit in with RLB’s high pressing game
Its incredibly dodgy. Tbf a lot of the summer deals in the PL have been dodgy, vastly inflated fees for kids to give FFP wiggle room.
Just been told of one lads in work his son plays for u18's and last week they were all told to keep away from part of the academy because 2 medicals were getting done. Obviously 1 was Wilson and he said other was roko. Said it's very strange how that one has gone so quiet now.
I understand your point but would there be a time when all 4 first choices will be missing from the line up? Substitute 1 of the bottom 4 into the top and it won't be as bad, the weakest for me would be Johnson at RB but like you said they could change formation to accommodate
