He's shown up well for the 21s in every game and carried that on into his 1st team appearances.
A bit raw, bit us physical and with no little skill.
Obviously Norwich have better youngsters to have let him go in the summer.

    And he is…….

ps City need a decent keeper who’s big and dominates his area

Edit not like their keeper <laugh>

Every time Soton shoot on target it goes through Alnwick like he’s not there.

City need to get a big keeper in the window.

ps Colwill was a class above<applause>

Fantastic effort from the Bluebirds tonight and some invaluable experience for the youngsters. They can hold their heads high and Erol deserves credit for having faith in them. He's shown that for all we say or presume, he's the one that knows what's actually going on.
It'll never be quick enough for many, but I'm convinced that a new, proper footballing era is being built.

Indeed but will Bulut give any of them first team game time?

They’ll only get better with first team experience.

It wouldn’t surprise me if we didn’t see them again until the FA Cup!

ps Forests keeper tonight is 6 foot 8. City need someone of his frame - he’d have got his hands to sone of Southamptons goals.

The two things you never see in football nowadays, not for the manager or from the fans (or boards) sadly.

What's the view on Robins nowadays Robbie? I'm sure it's been a bit touch and go with him on times hasn't it??

Yes, but it's a process Nin and neither you or I actually know who will benefit from first team experience and when it's appropriate to introduce them. After his selection tonight, I believe Erol deserves to be appreciated a bit more. As Robbie said, it's about time and patience. Just because we may not understand things, it doesn't make them wrong.
Tonight gave Erol a bit more insight into who is ready to step up.
I feel increasingly positive about the future.

not really Andy, he's got so much credit in the bank from where we were to now, I think King would be hunted down by the fans if he dumped him!!

Reindorf certainly should be given as much opportunity as any back up striker.

I still find it frustrating that players are brought in to pad the squad out when we have good youngsters in house.
We've wasted millions on salaries as a result.

Yes, people think we can sign better. But inevitably we don't.
How many forwards have we churned through at the expense of someone like Harris who us now back in the Wales squad.

Yes, we need better, but we never get it.

Bagan, F-Walcott, Ashford, Reindorf and Conte played well tonight.
