I wonder what happens if he doesn’t get a move and we reintegrate him. There isn’t really the squad space for 6 central defenders. But I’m pretty sure we can’t loan out one of the new ones having just signed them?

 

It’s an ichilles injury isn’t it? Such a bad injury I would be surprised if he is able to play for any sustained period.

One year they are going to realise that the competitions they run really are not competitions in any sense of the word or events.

I suppose if people stop paying to watch it live or on TV/Streaming Services and money stops coming in, they might change their ways but I feel I'll be in the ground for a long time before that happens, if it ever does.

I think Fernandes going off has been our issue.

 

I think he recovered from that and then got a bad hamstring injury. Not sure what kept him out over the summer and the training camp. If it was Achilles again then there wouldn’t be talk of him being close (if that’s even true)

 

Would like to see a midfield 3 of Lesley/Downes/Fernandes for Brentford.
