I expect the Nketiah sale is necessary though from a financial perspective as the net outlay at Arsenal has been substantial. Before any striker can be signed - and has taken too long and now it’s too late for a big money striker move I expect. I wouldn’t expect many 60m+ deals to happen this late in the window Interesting on Toney. Might explain why he hasn’t gone anywhere yet

It can be all sorts. Some goalkeepers I know who have moved have had incentives around the selling club getting more money if they're in the top 5 in the league for save percentage and all sorts like that. Clubs can get quite creative with it. Would assume appearances, clean sheets at a basic level with some other more complex bits in there too

Was never expecting a permanent transfer and I still can't work it out. If we go down then he will be off, so I assume there is a clause for that. Not sure what is happening on the wage front either. Regardless, great signing and will without douht gain us points this season. I wonder what impact this has on our other business.
He is accepting a fair drop in salary to come and play for us, even if Arsenal are paying up some of it. Fair play to him
Even ignoring wages I didn't expect him to join us due to the threat of relegation but that is a shock. I have heard he is quite a unique character and his actions here suggest that is true. The best signing I can remember for a long while.
