BCC was a big loss. And what a way to go out; leaving the board following a backlash to his performance on The Chase. He got plenty of stick over the years but condemnation of his decision to take a low offer from the chaser was seemingly the final straw. One of a few really surreal moments on this board to have happened over the years.

And lets be fair - it was no backlash, just a load of piss-taking that would have blown over as soon as another faux pas was made.
Would someone refresh me about why his decision on The Chase was wrong given the context. My view - mathematically the right decision. Castigated beyond reason imo.
It was absolutely the right decision for the team, but the wrong one for the millions of non-participants, including me, who like to see the do or die approach.
