Maybe, but I am not sure. So many of his successes were against a backdrop of off the field turmoil. He has had to achieve things inspite of off the field difficulties, not with the big money sugar daddies if that makes sense. To me this shows a coach who finds ways to create sides, rather than one who can rely on talent too heavily. I like Parker, but arguably he is one that a pool of real talent. Wilder has more about him in terms of pure coaching ability for me. They might need to show a bit of patience due to player turnover but I dont think he is one to be written off just yet. Some of these old timers can still sprinkle some wisdom and know how. Anyway, hope I am wrong and he flops. One less rival to worry about
I think a lot depends on points deductions at Leicester. They have the makings of a solid side. I also still think Ipswich will do well. They will win games along the way for me. Southampton look light but I am a huge fan of their coach.
Everton, Southampton will drop. Bit of a free for all after that. Leicester and Ipswich will compete.
Surely they’ll reinvest a bit in the squad? And Dougie Freedman has a good reputation. I really like and rate Glasner too.
It’s wild that we’re all close to the window shutting and still don’t have a striker lol. Feels like deja vu.
They normally do recruit well n im the same as you about Glasner Losing Guehi, Anderson and Olise would be hard to replace in 1 window
