We should have told Palace to jog on weeks ago. The fact we haven’t surely must mean we have alternatives in the mix whether they be CB options or not. I sincerely hope this is the case but if Howe is adamant on having Guehi then that seems highly unlikely. I hope I’m wrong but could the powers that be perhaps be trying to undermine Howe and force him to walk or is this just a result of previous windows and PSR arse covering coupled with perhaps playing things out to see the outcome of the City 115 charge investigations? Things certainly don’t seem right at the moment and there’s nobody from within the club currently coming out with anything to put us in the picture. Can’t wait for this week to be over that’s for sure, at least by the time we kick off on Sunday we’ll know what we’re working with for the next few months and hopefully sometime next week or soon after someone will come out with some sort of statement that explains what the **** has transpired since last season finished and 30th Aug 2024 cos I sure as **** can’t figure it out for the life of me.

Palace have signed Nketieh from Arsenal for £30m…baffling why we couldn’t peddle Wilson for £10m - £15m in the summer and go for him, or even do that now and peddle Wilson in Jan. I’d have him over DCL, maybe a bit too similar style to Isak but Isak is likely to be off next summer at this rate so at least we’d have his replacement already in place!
Doesn’t change the fact that we clearly have £70m or so to spend and rather than buying an alternative to Guehi and a RW we’re quite possibly gonna end up with 5 goalkeepers.
