I was asked the other day if I’ve seen more wins than losses. It’s roughly 30 years to the day since my first game and from roughly 1997/98 I’ve done maybe 65% of games home and away as a rough estimate. We’ve been mostly **** in that time and I missed a lot of the Warnock promotion season living abroad but then maybe 70% or so of the games I have attended in that time have been at home where we’ll have won more than we’ve lost. My final guess was about as many wins as defeats. Not the question you asked at all. I reckon the ratio of wins to defeats in our history is approximately 0.94:1.
I don’t ****ing know. We’ve got a negative record against Vauxhall Motors and a positive one against Aylesbury to get you started.
If I think of another I’ll save it for the league game. I’m sure we had a young black midfielder go there after we released him and thought it was Stefan Bailey but apparently not.
I have 3 x Bhatia Stand full price tickets in Block B going spare. Duplicated purchase by two R's fans. Doh! PM me for details.
Hoping Celar starts tonight, which I think he will. He needs the minutes and it could do him the world of good. Hoping to be back down from a charity event up Ben Nevis for the game on Friday.
Before we lose both games I’ll say it looks like a good time to play Luton twice. Sounds fairly likely they’ll lose one of their strikers. Strong team on paper but a poor start and I wonder if a few of them are hoping for a move.
I have no idea how this match will develop and I guess much will depend on the starting line up. I feel that for us it will be much more important to get a good result on Friday evening, so this selection will the consequence of that plan. Plus I wouldn’t be surprised if Luton will think likewise. in short, we should see two very much weakened teams.
Another strong performance from Joe Walsh tonight and I reckon Nardi will be looking over his shoulder.
As a 60’s child and QPR fan I really ****ing hate Luton Both teams will play much weakened starting XI’s and that doesn’t usually bode well for us.
