It seems surprising on the surface But the standard in saudi league is appallingly bad You can get older superstars in But to really make the standard go up You need younger players And this is the start of it A young league 1 player is a massive improvement over there
He’s one of the best English prospects it would be a terrible career move but I suppose he would be sorted for life financially and be able to retire by his mid 20’s.
Unfortunately for him, the only players over there getting huge wages are the superstars, vale will not be getting a huge pay day if he goes over. He'll almost certainly earn less then he currently does. But it may kick start his career
Boro signing A Brazillian left Back from Ligue 2. So presumably that's Giles staying, Hopefully now gets his head sorted and Shows why we signed Him.
I hope he wakes up the fact that Boro didnt want him after all and the club he is employed by spent £4 million of belief in him..
Personally I think Giles has played well for us since coming in on a permanent. He's certainly looked better than a bunch of others who are still starting for us at the moment. I don't see how comments about his desire to be here can be anything more than completely fabricated to be honest. Unless he's spoken directly to anyone on here?
I think it’s just his laid back nature on the pitch that people don’t like. The club have released a few BTS training videos and he’s always one of the main ones laughing and joking with the players. I also met him a few times last year and he’s one of the most down to earth people you could ever meet. I’m glad he’s staying and hope he smashes it.
