I've ruled out anything exciting happening.... guehi is good addition , but cbs are only marginally more exciting than a goal keeper.

It’s nearly closed. In fact it’s almost closed. No transfer activity and two poor performances but at least we have 4 points.
I’m relatively relaxed about this apart from the performances thus far. Maybe we just need to forget about transfers.

True. This is very true. It’s just a shame we can’t kick on. We can’t seem to get rid of some of the dross either.
I think it’s around 13 players out of contract ( saw on here) in 2025 - big changes next summer if nothing else. Or Putin/Netenyahu end the world
Instead of asking for the club to break the transfer records on a cb perhaps first figure out a way of getting the clubs best players on the pitch at the same time. They're just chucking more and more money his way... money that doesn't appear to be improving the side. Transformative window? So far they've sold the two best youth players at the club and put out a side packed to the rafters with players that even the fans know aren't top half players. I've given up any hope on quality additions.. it is what it is....might as well just be nice and appreciate the effort of the players....they can only do their best and they're being let down more than anyone.
