It's still.very flat. Crowd quiet, passing isn't very crisp and movement it's passive. Just need to quicken the pass rather than put more effort in. It's all too easy on brentford
To be honest, last couple years you tend to forget that we weren’t overly exciting. We were the 200mph from those few brilliant years. Klopp slowed things down and was a lot of games where we passed it around with no penetration against teams that sat back.
You just want a little more than this. That's two in a row they've got a cheap free and a half chance off them. For all the talk there's no actual control here. We are giving it away time after time. Look at macallister playing that blind pass 40 yards with no chance of it going near salah. That's not control. You have to move to play one and two touch passing
they’re getting out far too easily down their left. Not sure if it’s Salah not closing off the pass or the formation giving them extra space but always a ball to their lwb who just jogs forward down the line too easily and suddenly they’re into our half

We’re watching diff game. On the ball we’ve been really good. Plenty of control on the ball. That pass from mac was clewrly a routine they worked on and seen a lot pre season of knocking it drawing players in and then bypassing them with a pass and opening up the game. Exactly what tried there and if goes to Salah it’s 3v3
There's an awful lot of shrugging and waving of arms that suggest nobody is happy with the performance. Gravenberch was very lucky there he has gone with two feet and it's shin on shin. Not good. That's two cms who now can't make a tackle.

It's slow. Far far too slow. That ball can be a routine as the commentator suggests all you like but it's not control and it's highly unlikely to actually arrive as it's blind. The point is to be controlling you need to play that ball a bit quicker or the options will quickly dry up and you lose it. Look what we just did. far faster passing. Nothing special just quicker.
