I think today proves that we are NOT a top 4 team and we are NOT a top 6 side. This club has moved well since the takeover but the last 12 months have stagnated. We really need to kick on. Howe is part of the problem as he doesn’t seem to learn from past mistakes. We simply have to get Murphy Longstaff and Krafth out of the starting 11. I was very concerned how poor Joelinton played today.
We need the calm down on the ball like..we treat it like a hot potato..even bruno at times.. just constantly giving them the ball back.
Something was wrong with him today. He didn’t look match fit from the get go. The sharpness isn’t there. I blame pre season. All these **** opponents isn’t helping. We need to play top level opponents in pre season.

We're putting out sides with krafth Longstaff and Jacob Murphy I agree the clubs moving forward but anyone that genuinely believes an 11 with those players being good enough in 2024 to finish top 4 is quite simply delusional. The windows open.... 2 or even 3 top players are required ideally, but I've lost confidence in recruitment... they'll sign the wrong types.
Not based on one game. Based on the many that Howe seems to like these players. I guess it’s easier said than done but there are so many players we could sign to improve things. Not from these shores. I don’t think Guehi is the answer in fact far from it.
I agree but they aren't available and look what happens... if isak and Guimareas get injured god forbid....that can happen any second.
Where was the press? Has that stopped because of the new committee? There was no press or intensity at all.
Somewhere along the line the manager and the fans concluded that Jacob Murphy was better than Almiron and that Sean Longstaff is key player. It's actually lunacy.... Almiron isn't great but he was at one time the clubs record signing... Murphy pulls funny faces. It's time for the club to get real over the next year or two.
The club are amateur levels right now. This transfer window. A joke. The power struggle. A joke. Every top 8 club that needed to improve have with signings. Liverpool already had a class squad. We are miles behind the top 6. The proof will be in the pudding but the current showings are worrying.
He along with everyone improved when Longstaff went off but yes he was poor today. The joke needs to end with some of these players. Finishing 4th has proven to be a poisoned chalice!
