That was absolutely worrying how little effort there was. Joelinton looks like he’s been on the lash. Murphy is absolutely clart. No effort. No desire. No game plan. There is no press.
The only players he’d have that aren’t playing are Botman and Tonali. That’s it. So how can he excuse a performance like this? There’s no urgency, no plan, it has all the hallmarks of the end of a tenure. Something has happened at Newcastle related to the Staveley change and it hasn’t gone down well anywhere.

Murphy is average. Bruno is the only creativity we have but he’s being played in a deep role. But what’s pissing me off the most is our players tippy tapping the ball backwards until they have to give it to Pope. Giving it to Pope should be a last resort. This is 100% down to EH and the coaching staff.
Half the side are championship players at best. I've been saying this all week. The more money If anyone is hoping this manager will make the right changes then think again. The more money they give him the worse his side gets.
How much of that money went on Botman, Bruno, Isak, Gordon, Pope, Livramento, Hall, Tonali, Trippier, Barnes? That’s a huge amount of money on a lot of quality. As you said yourself it will take time
